I’m still working on securing Penzance, Manchester & Northern Ireland dates and will be back in touch when I have more info.
And a small favour… I’m organising this tour on a shoestring so will need your help to make it a success! Please forward this email to anyone you know in the towns and cities above who might enjoy my music… your assistance is much appreciated!
And if you’re on facebook and haven’t already done this, please join my fan page and invite your friends to do the same!
Having played 10 festies so far this year, I’m almost festival’d out but I’ve got a bit of juice in me yet so here’s a list of the places you can catch me at over the next few weeks:
Landirani Live: 12th September
An Enchanted Festival of Music, Magic and Art, 1pm – 10pm at Fishponds Park, Surbiton (off the Ewell Road), KT6 6BE. I’ll be playing as part of this wonderful day-long event, in support of the Landirani Water Project which will provide over 40,000 people in Malawi with clean, safe drinking water.
After that things will go a little quiet until… the autumn when I embark on my first ever UK tour! From the end of October, I’ll be taking to the road to visit lots of lovely little venues around the country… including (I hope) one near you! We’re still in the process of booking gigs, but for the moment, put the following dates in your diary:
28 October: LONDON @ The Magpies Nest, Islington
3 November: STROUD @ The Prince Albert
4 November: BRISTOL @ Bristol Thekla, supporting Martha Tilston
7 November: BRACKNELL @ South Hill Park
11 November: BRIGHTON @ Latest Music Bar
There should be plenty more where they came from too… including Bangor, Manchester and Leeds… so watch this space!
And if you’re feeling left out cos your home town isn’t on the list - get in contact, suggest a venue and we’ll see what we can do!
Oh, and if you’ve got mates in any of the towns above who might be open to a musical recommendation, let me know and I’ll send you an email invite to forward on!
I’ll post again with full details as soon as all the tour dates are confirmed…
I’m fresh back from a great weekend at Glastonbury and preparing for a summer full of festie loveliness Here’s a list of the festies you can catch me at over the next couple of months…
Broadstairs Folk Week: 10th - 13th August
Broadstairs, Kent
Monday 10th @ 1pm in Charles Dickens pub
Tuesday 11th @ 3pm in the Prince Albert
Wednesday 12th @ 8pm in Neptunes Hall
Thursday 13th @ 1pm in Tartare Frigate
all with Hippy Jo
Thanks so much to those of you who made it down to one of my launch gigs last weekend. Both gigs were completely lovely and surpassed all my expectations – I could hardly believe it when I realised they’d both sold out! Special thanks to Adrianne and Joe for their beautiful accompaniments.
For those of you who didn’t make it down and even those who did… a cheeky reminder that you can buy the “Footprints” EP online for £5 you can also download all the songs on the EP from itunes, amazon and other music download sites.
I’ll be playing at the Glastonbury Festival at 12noon on Saturday 27th June on the Small World Solar Stage . I’ll then be at the Beatherder festival in Lancashire on the weekend of 4th/5th July playing on the Shisha Lounge stage – date and time TBC.
Loads of other festies lined up too, including Secret Garden Party, Fiddler’s Green, Broadstairs Folk Week, Big Green Gathering and more…
Before the festie madness continues though, I’ll be at the Owlsworld Acoustic Session @ The old Barn in London on Monday 22nd June.
Thanks again for all your support – without you I’d be sitting at home playing to my dad… and even then he’d probably be off out at a ‘Christians’ gig
I’ve now confirmed the official launch gigs for my new EP “Footprints”… not to disappoint, there will be events in both London and my home town of Bracknell
LONDON: SUNDAY 14th JUNE @ The Green Note Cafe in Camden
The Green Note is a lovely, intimate little venue with a great sound system and delicious vegetarian food… I’ve played there a couple of time before and it’s always been a pleasure.
Tickets cost £7 on the door but advance tickets are available for £5 from WeGoTickets - we suggest you book early as last time advance tickets sold out…
I will be joined on stage by Adrianne Wininsky on cello, Joe Hymas on mandolin and some other special guests. Support will be provided by Ruth Theodore and J B Newman.
Doors open 7pm. Music 9pm. No entry after 9.30pm.

As well working on the website for the past few months, nathan has just finished mixing a new 4 song EP that will be mastered in the next couple of weeks and ready for some airing…. Watch this space!
Wahoo, after what seems like an age, Nathan has finally got round to re-designing the website and actually getting it functioning and live ( well, to be fair, it was mostly down to the magic of mr Jon Packman who was in control and very kindly put up with nathans confused ideas and changes of the mind, and for which, Nathan is extremely grateful! )
There are still a few creases to iron out but we’re on the case and would love to hear any comments you have or details of any problems you encounter whan navigating round the site.
